CameraIf you’re as proud of your new or used hybrid Toyota as we think you are, you’ve probably thought about taking its picture. You could show it off to friends, share it online or just keep it to remember this exciting new vehicle as the years go on. Taking a great picture of your vehicle, however, requires a bit of work. So, here are some tips on how to get the best picture you can of your hybrid Toyota.

The first thing you’ll need to do is to make sure that your vehicle is clean and shiny. If there is dirt and grime on the paint, or bugs stuck on the windshield, the picture just won’t turn out well. Instead of paying attention to the streamlined look or the gorgeous color, all anyone will be able to see are the imperfections. So, do yourself a favor, and wash and polish that car!

Now that your car is clean, you’ll need some good lighting. Sure, your camera has a flash, but to really get a good portrait, you’ll want to make sure there is also lots of ambient light. Chances are, some good daylight will get you what you need. Make sure that the sun is behind you as you take the shot of your hybrid Toyota. Otherwise, the car will look as though it’s shadowed. Also, make sure the sun isn’t too high or creating bright reflections off of the paint.

Finally, you’ll need to decide if you want to pose with your car. If you do want to be in the picture, be sure to have someone else around to take the picture. They should probably take more than one so that you can be sure to have some good shots to choose from. You could also use a timer and a tripod, but that may require investing in more equipment than you need.

So, have a little fun and snap some shots of your hybrid Toyota. It can be fun to compare how it looks now with how great it will look in the years to come!
