Green EconomyThis 2010 Toyota Highlander hybrid version can be purchased for as low as $34,700. This second generation midsize crossover sport-utility vehicle is larger, roomier and more powerful then its predecessor.

Fuel economy speaking, drivers can expect to get 27 mpg in town and 25 on the highway. Compare this to the 17/23 mpg EPA rating of the traditional Highlander. This remarkable SUV offers extremely low emissions and is rated a Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV).

The SUV comes equipped with a 3.3 liter, dual overhead cam, 24 valve V-6 hybrid engine, that puts out 208 horsepower. It has a standard towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. The vehicle’s transmission is a 6-speed automatic that is electronically controlled.
